New study to understand effects of bariatric surgery

Weight-loss surgeons at Laparoscopic Associates of San Francisco have launched a new study, “Bariatric Research and Cohort Evaluation Study”, or BRACES. The study will follow 40 patients after their participation in any of the four major types of weight loss surgery performed at Laparoscopic Associates of San Francisco: Lap Band surgery, Vertical Gastrectomy, Roux-en-Y gastric bypass, and Duodenal Switch.
