Low-Carb Diet Irrelevant For Weight Loss In The Future

The opponents of livin’ la vida low-carb are at it again and this time they’ve gone out of their way to be just about as absurd in their opposition as I’ve ever seen them when it comes to interpreting scientific research data in a way that attempts to discredit the Atkins/low-carb lifestyle as a healthy long-term option for weight loss and improved health.

A recent study supposedly showing that future generations of caterpillars placed on a low-carb, high-protein diet eventually begin storing fat while the bodies of the ones put on a high-carb diet actually adapt to the increased carbohydrate intake is being used to try to discredit low-carb.

    Thats funny, my husband actually went on a lowcarb lifestyle about 2 years ago, and had lost 140 pounds in under 14 months! He has since kept it off, and goes into the doctors every month and gets tested. They say he has the cholesterol of a 12 year old healthy boy! I believe 100% that the lowcarb life is the correct one for most people. Everyone is different though.     I am now using both low carb diet and doing aerobic exercises to lose weight and have good result. Some say there are side effects but i think they misunderstand the words “low carb”. I believe “low carb” is all about reducing carb intake but not about eating only no carb foods. Finding a balance is very important.
